A leading facilities management company in the UK is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader to oversee a multi-disciplinary maintenance shift team. This role involves ensuring compliance with Planned Preventive Maintenance schedules and executing reactive maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate must have experience in maintenance leadership, strong knowledge of PPM systems, and excellent communication skills. The position requires shift work, including weekends, and a proactive approach to technical problem resolution.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintenance leadership within a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Strong knowledge of PPM systems and reactive maintenance processes.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues across mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance disciplines.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate a multi-skilled maintenance team during assigned shifts.
• Ensure all planned maintenance activities are completed in line with schedules.
• Prioritize and execute reactive maintenance jobs promptly to minimize downtime.
• Act as the first point of contact for technical issues during shifts.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Provide clear handovers between shifts and maintain accurate logs of activities.
