MADE AV are looking for a Lead Installation Engineer to join our team!

Lead Installation Engineer

Applicants must have experience in AV and have undertaken an AV role in a lead position for a number of years; this is not a beginner’s role.

Location Requirements

Preferred base location:

• In Kent within 25 minutes from Ashford, Kent (within reason).

Key Skills

• Unistrut work, cable tray, brackets, engineering around other services in ceilings, etc.
• Rack building (doesn’t need to be a specialist)
• Speaker installation at high level (scissor-lift work)
• LED wall installation (training provided; doesn’t need to be a specialist).
• Video screens: pole mount, ceiling mount, fixing to all different types of surfaces.
• Installation of data cables RJ45 male and female connectors – data-point punch-downs.
• Understanding schematic drawings.

Sectors MADE AV Operate In

• Hospitality – Hotels, bars, restaurants.
• Commercial – Retail shops, showrooms.
• Sports – Stadiums, cricket, rugby, football, padel.
• Experience – Theme parks, entertainment.

Work Locations

Applicants are expected to work in:

• Kent – 30%
• London – 40%
• Rest of the UK – 15%
• Europe / Global – 15%

Documentation Requirements

Details matter; we record information on each project:

• Full imagery and documentation.
• Hand over reports of work completed so we can update the client on progress.
• Clear communications back and forth to the MADE AV office and clients.
