Job summary

Une entreprise de conseil en ingénierie à Londres recherche un Ingénieur Électrique responsable de l'assistance fonctionnelle pour des projets au Royaume-Uni. Le candidat idéal doit posséder un diplôme en ingénierie et une expérience en livraison de projets. Il sera chargé de contrôler que toutes les normes d'ingénierie sont respectées tout en travaillant avec des partenaires commerciaux. Les candidats doivent être éligibles pour travailler au Royaume-Uni sans restrictions.

Qualifications

• Diplôme en ingénierie pertinent et idéalement membre d'un organisme d'ingénieur agréé.
• Expérience en livraison de projets d'infrastructure.
• Capacité à gérer les programmes d'atténuation d'obsolescence.

Responsibilities

• Responsable des aspects électriques des projets au Royaume-Uni.
• Assurer que les normes techniques d'ingénierie et de gestion de la sécurité sont respectées.
• Travailler avec de multiples fournisseurs pour garantir que les meilleures pratiques sont appliquées.

Job description

Accountable for all functional support for Electrical Engineering activities in the UK Capital Project Programme as part of the UK Capital Projects Team. Ensures equipment and systems are suitably specified to meet all project requirements. Acts as the focal point for the project for resolution of all electrical engineering queries and clarifications. Supports all design, construction and commissioning activities required for the successful completion of UK Capital Projects.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the Electrical Engineering Aspects of the UK Capital Projects scope.
• Ensuring that Engineering Technical Standards, safety management standards, maintainability, operability, and integrity are achieved through the delivery of the project scope.
• Responsible engineer for electrical scope, control systems, integration with site systems and instrumentation equipment.
• Ensure new technologies are leveraged where appropriate to improve project outcomes.
• Partner with other business functions to support and implement standards effectively and whilst managing risk.
• Ensure engineering work is controlled in accordance with engineering arrangements and that all Legal, Regulatory, Contractual, COMAH and Governance obligations are met.
• Working across multiple contractor and supplier delivery scopes, ensuing relevant KPIs and best practice are met and implemented.

Skills and Experience

• Preferred bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline and ideally a Chartered Engineer.
• Capital project delivery experience in contracting and operating companies.
• Manage obsolescence mitigation programme.
