Qualifications

  • Pass rate for Munsell Testing (can be tested within the recruitment process).
  • Experience of OEM test and colour evaluation.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining laboratory scope and all associated equipment.
  • Compile scientific experimental reports for internal and external approval.
  • Support new project implementation for design verification test content.

Skills

Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
Experience in a robotic paint facility
High pc skill levels
Understanding of IATF 16949

Education

The Austria-based company is a full-service provider in the field of injection moulding, a specialist in fibre-reinforced plastics and a manufacturer of original accessory parts made of plastic and stainless steel. Therefore, we are looking for an employee (m/f/d) who is able to start work as a Lab Technician (Paint). Ref.-Nr. 5971. Location: Telford. Extent of employment: full-time.

Supporting the high quality requirements of the business this role is to develop and implement first and second stage testing schedules to meet customer requirements and support laboratory systems for approval activity and colour verification processes.

Responsibilities
  • Maintaining laboratory scope and all associated equipment
  • Laising with 3rd party test houses where required
  • Compile scientific experimental reports for internal and external approval
  • Support new project implementation for design verification test content and support PFMEA teams
  • Audit internal processes for colour adherance
  • Drive and support the requirements to uphold accreditations including IATF16949 and ISO14001
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role - preferably at Tier 1
  • Experience in a robotic paint facility preferable
  • Experience of OEM test and colour evaluation
  • Relevant professional qualification - Btec/HNC or equivalent
  • Pass rate for Munsell Testing (can be tested within the recruitment process)
  • High pc skill levels
  • Understanding of IATF 16949
