A prestigious independent school in Dover is looking for a Kitchen Porter to maintain high hygiene standards. Candidates should possess good organisational skills and ideally have experience in a kitchen environment. The role involves assisting chefs, operating kitchen equipment, and ensuring cleanliness. The position offers 40 hours a week with competitive pay and various employee benefits including free meals on duty and training opportunities.
A fabulous co-educational independent boarding school for children with military traditions. Set in 150 acres of Kent countryside near Dover. Catering for about 570 students and teachers. We offer a core feeding of AM snack, Lunch, PM snack, Supper and a 6th form cafe. There will be a good amount of hospitality offering at this location. This school operates 7 days a week so working patterns are 5 out of 7 days and has additional benefits of free parking and use of on site gym.
We are recruiting 2 KP roles.
1x 40 hours per week 49.6 weeks per year including paid holidays
1x 40 hours per week 41.8 weeks per year indcluding paid holidays
Shift timings are either 0700 - 1500 OR 1130 - 2000
