A leading food supplier in the UK is looking for a motivated Key Account Manager to drive sales growth across various schools and educational institutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong sales background and experience in consultative selling. Responsibilities include managing key accounts and developing lead generation strategies while achieving a personal sales target. The Territory that the KAM will be responsible for will be from Leeds, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Halifax, York up to the Northeast areas of Durham, Darlington, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Sunderland, Galashiels & Middlesbrough.

Due to the geography of this role and the nature of working with customers in school and nursery settings, flexibility with working hours will be needed.
Travel to customers across the region and to national events, including overnight stays, will be a regular requirement - typically 1 night per week.
A company car is provided to facilitate this and a clean (or virtually clean) driving licence is essential.
As this role involves working in settings with children it is exempt from The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and requires an Enhanced DBS.
