You may help with the set‑up of filming on location or in the studio for programmes such as The One Show, or schedule crews and freelancers for Women’s Hour. No media experience or qualifications needed – just enthusiasm and problem‑solving skills. Whether you’re finishing school or changing careers, this hands‑on role offers a pathway into production management at one of the world’s leading broadcasters.
BBC Wales – Sport brings audiences the excitement of Wales’ biggest sporting moments, from international football and rugby to EFL matches and global events like the Commonwealth Games. As a Production Coordinator Apprentice you’ll support the planning and delivery of these broadcasts, helping the team bring world‑class sport to audiences in Wales and beyond.
On successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will be able to apply for job roles such as a Production Management Assistant, Production Secretary or Production Coordinator, depending on experience both inside and outside of the BBC.
