Junior Field Service Engineer, Medical Diagnostics

TRS Consulting is recruiting a technically motivated and customer‑focused Junior Field Service Engineer to support advanced medical diagnostics equipment across NHS laboratories, pathology departments and clinical chemistry sites.

The Role
  • Service, install, repair, and calibrate a wide range of sophisticated medical laboratory diagnostic systems.
  • Provide on‑site support for clinical chemistry and blood diagnostics products.
  • Maintain high customer service standards and troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
  • Participate in product training and knowledge sharing with the team.
Your Background
  • Customer‑facing field service engineering experience in a high‑value capital equipment environment.
  • Experience in related sectors such as photocopiers, ATMs, medical & dental, weapons systems, radar, or other electro‑mechanical fields is welcomed.
  • Engineering, electronics or science‑based qualification to at least ONC, City & Guilds or NVQ level.
  • Strong teamwork skills, technical aptitude, and a customer‑first attitude.
