This is a critical role providing technical advice, guidance, and hands-on support to schools and their HR providers during the review and update of Job Descriptions and Person Specifications (JDPS).**Key Responsibilities*** Liaise with schools to clarify existing roles and assist in developing updated JDPS documents, including writing person specifications.* Provide advice and guidance to schools and HR providers on organisational policy during JD reviews and JD workshops.* Examples include addressing duties outside the original JD, assessing job redesign needs, and rectifying historic pay anomalies (e.g., first-aider allowances).* Offer technical advice and support for dispute resolution processes, including attendance at dispute panels and casework alignment with organisational policies.* Ensure employer policies and guidance are accessible, well-communicated, and meet the needs of schools.* Troubleshoot ad hoc issues at the interface of Job Evaluation, policy, school practice, and independent HR advisors.**Expertise Required*** Strong understanding of school operations and HR practices.* In-depth knowledge of roles within schools and associated grading structures.* Ability to interpret and apply employer responsibilities and policies.* Skilled in navigating complex issues and problem-solving.* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.**What you need to do now** If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
