Job summary

A leading automotive distributor in Greater London is seeking an IT Support role to provide everyday IT assistance to colleagues. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing support tickets, and maintaining user devices. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Windows and macOS, be detail-oriented, and possess strong customer service skills. What you’ll do
  • Provide everyday IT support to colleagues, both on‑site and remotely.
  • Fix common hardware, software, and connectivity issues quickly and effectively.
  • Set up, update, and maintain laptops, desktops, and other devices.
  • Log and manage support tickets in the ITSM tool, keeping clear and accurate records.
  • Support basic application issues and help users understand how to use IT tools.
  • Apply updates, patches, and security measures to keep systems safe and compliant.
  • Assist the infrastructure team with simple hands‑on tasks when needed.
About you

You will be successful in this role if you are:

  • Knowledge in Windows, macOS and common IT tools.
  • Comfortable troubleshooting everyday technical problems in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Clear and friendly when explaining technical topics to non‑technical users.
  • Organised, proactive and able to prioritise when things get busy.
  • Detail‑oriented and consistent with documentation and following processes.
