A leading infrastructure services company in the UK is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee complex IT project delivery. The role requires strong technical knowledge, collaboration with stakeholders, and management of budgets. Candidates should have experience with CRM systems, project lifecycles, and relevant qualifications. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of complex IT projects, working hands‑on with your strong technical knowledge of processes, systems, integrations, and interfaces to guide solution outcomes within the project team.
Operating within our IT Governance framework, you will manage vendors, oversee change requests, and ensure that schedules, risks, actions, issues, and dependencies are meticulously maintained in our project tool, KeyedIn.
You will take the lead in creating and maintaining clear project and communication plans, enabling the smooth and efficient delivery of IT initiatives. This includes keeping stakeholders informed through the preparation and sharing of weekly project highlight reports.
Collaboration will be key, as you work closely with internal and external parties to coordinate and schedule project activities effectively. You will also manage project budgets, ensuring accurate tracking and providing regular, transparent financial updates.
You will be proactive in managing expectations around delivery, escalating any risks to deadlines as early as possible to allow corrective action. Additionally, you will identify and assess IT project risks, integrating them into Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans where necessary.
