Job description

Dynisma is revolutionising the automotive and motorsport driving simulator market with its disruptive Motion Generator technology. Our cutting‑edge approach to simulator design delivers more data about vehicle dynamics and ride to drivers and passengers with less latency and more accurately than any other motion simulators available.

The Role

As an Inventory Controller, you will play a key role in assembling, organising, and packaging components into kits to support production activities. As an integral member of the logistics team, you will be responsible for managing the storage, organization, and tracking of materials and components vital to our manufacturing operations. Your duties will include maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring full compliance with company standards for inventory management and production order fulfilment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pick parts into kits according to daily and weekly picklists issued by Production Controllers.
  • Verify part number and bin location to ensure accurate selection of the picklist.
  • Gather and package specific components into kits in line with work orders, customer specifications, or production requirements.
Labelling and Documentation
  • Accurately label and document all kitted items, updating inventory using Pick list consumption process.
  • Pack parts appropriately to prevent damaged during storage and transportation.
  • Clearly labelling kit boxes to ensure parts are correctly identified.
Inventory Control & Quality
  • Monitor and manage stock levels, report shortages, and ensure all kit components are available and in good condition.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and stock takes to enable high stock accuracy.
  • Ensure that all kits meet quality standards and specifications before issuing.
  • Follow company safety policies, maintain a clean workspace, and adhere to regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all activities comply with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
  • Maintain accurate and auditable documentation.
  • Comply with all health and safety policies and report any hazards or incidents promptly, leading by example.
Continuous Improvement and Support
  • Contribute to the continuous review of project management and customer needs to optimise spend and quality.
  • Support the wider logistics activities as and when required. Examples of what this could include is: goods in inspection, processing warehouse receipts on ERP system, managing supplier returns, and creating delivery notes.
Skills Required
  • Ability to carry out manual work daily, and adhere to manual handling regulations
  • Holds a valid forklift license or is willing to undertake forklift training as required.
  • Works effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and assisting with additional tasks as required by the business.
  • Demonstrate accountability and a sense of responsibility
  • Resilience in getting problems solved in a timely manner and working in a reactive environment
  • Ensures precision in all aspects of work, from documentation to physical handling of materials.
  • Competent in using computers and business systems (e.g., ERP, inventory, and communication tools).
