A healthcare provider in Colchester seeks a Nurse to join the Interventional Radiology team. This role offers the chance to develop specialised skills, with no prior experience necessary as full training will be provided. Key responsibilities include providing high-quality patient care, acting as a team leader when needed, and working alongside a multidisciplinary group. An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Interventional Radiology nursing team at Colchester General Hospital.
The Interventional Radiology team is a small and friendly multidisciplinary group consisting of nurses, radiographers and consultant radiologists. The core working hours are Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑18:00 and, once trained, you will participate in a 24/7 on‑call rota (1 in 5). When on call, you must be able to reach the hospital within 45 minutes of being called.
The role is for a nurse interested in developing specialised skills such as scrub, conscious sedation and participation in a cross‑site on‑call service. Experience is welcome but not essential, as full on‑the‑job training will be provided.
