A leading procurement consultancy in the UK is seeking an Interim Engineering Procurement Category Manager to deliver effective procurement outcomes across engineering and operational teams. The role requires strong experience in engineering procurement, direct and indirect spares, and energy procurement, focusing on stakeholder collaboration and compliance. This position reports directly to the Head of Procurement, emphasizing a collaborative environment aimed at achieving business-critical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in engineering procurement or category management.
• Strong knowledge of direct and indirect engineering spares / MRO.
• Ability to operate effectively within an inside IR35 interim assignment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver category management activity across engineering and life cycle spend.
• Support procurement of spare parts for a large fleet.
• Manage supplier performance and support continuity of supply.
• Align procurement activity with governance and compliance requirements.
