Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for you at NDT to become an Integrity test Engineer using both the Sonic Echo method and the Transient Dynamic Response (TDR) methods.

The successful candidate will be fully trained at our Nottingham office with the handheld industry leading PET equipment and will ‘buddy’ with someone for on site training and experience. Predominantly the successful candidate will work from home in a car derived van having received an emailed job list the day before.

The majority of testing projects will be located within the boundary of the M25 Motorway however where operational requirements dictate there may be a requirement for travel further a field.

Non-Destructive Testing Services Ltd (an RSK group company) founded in 1990 are leading independent Foundation Pile test engineers based in Nottingham. NDT operate nationally for many of the UK’s major piling contractors.

Responsibilities
  • Undertaking site work using Sonic echo and TDR test equipment.
  • Liaising with the site agent upon arrival to site to go through site drawings and confirm piles tested.
  • Completing site job sheets and emailing to the office for processing.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Aptitude to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A willingness to contribute ideas and suggestions.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication is essential to the role.
  • Self-motivated, with diligence, integrity and ambition.
  • Willingness to travel around the UK.
  • Adherence to our technical and operating procedures with a strong sense of health and safety awareness.
  • Previous site experience.
  • CSCS card is preferable but not essential.
  • Must hold a UK driving license.
