A local festival organization in Hitchin is seeking volunteers for the Infrastructure team at an exciting folk festival. Summary

You will be part of the infrastructure team. You will be setting up and taking down. You will be part of a wonderful festival on the UK folk music map.

Detailed description

You will be part of the Infrastructure Manager's team. Your tasks will be supporting the Manager to run parking arrangements, collect the stage and chairs and tables, and set up the bar and marquees. You will be putting up signage and lights, and be part of the health and safety and emergency planning.

We need volunteers who are relatively fit and can carry small loads. Having handy man/woman skills would be as asset. We are a friendly group, all wanting to put on the best possible festival. It is attended by around 1000 people per year, locally and nationally. The atmosphere is always very special and sometimes electric! We hope you will join us. You will be made very welcome!
