Job summary

A leading aerospace technology firm in the United Kingdom is seeking an Industrial Systems Engineer to contribute to their industrial strategy and leverage the latest technologies for electric propulsion systems. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering and experience in implementing industrial systems. Responsibilities include creating processes for digital design to manufacturing, analyzing production rates, and educating teams on best practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
• Demonstrated experience in the implementation of industrial systems.
• Strong experience in project management and working with multicultural teams.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles including VSM.
• Experience in discrete event simulation modeling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement industrial system processes.
• Drive industry 4.0 solutions linked to our MES.
• Analyze production rates and optimize factory throughput.
• Educate and lead teams on industrialization processes.
