Job description
Supporting Futures – Independent Living Schemes

We’re looking for a proactive and compassionate individual to support our Independent Living Schemes as part of our Communities Service on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Join us in delivering Great Places, Great Services, and Great Tomorrows.

You will assist in delivering a broad range of services to our most vulnerable customers across Daventry. Your practical knowledge and problem‑solving skills will help provide a customer‑focused approach.

You will engage with customers, external agencies, partners, and the wider business, signposting customers to the appropriate support services.

Expect challenges that will use your housing law knowledge and customer focus when dealing with anti‑social behaviour, tenancy issues, property viewings, and sign‑ups for new customers.

A Few Key Points From Our Role Profile
  • Signpost customers to the FHG tenancy support team for money advice or third‑party agency support where appropriate.
  • Consult with customers regarding proposed works on schemes, ensuring their views are considered and encouraging engagement with activities that may affect their home.
  • Liaise with the Communities Team where action is required and respond to unacceptable or anti‑social behaviour affecting the wider community.
  • Support Community Housing Officers in collating evidence for necessary action.
  • Promote community engagement activities by supporting community groups and events in communal areas/centres.
  • Program and install enhanced or upgraded Telecare or Assistive Technology for Futures customers.
  • Attend to faulty Telecare equipment during normal working hours across the Group.
