Job description

Rooms Attendant: Specific duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Safe handling of cleaning products and chemicals and proper operation of cleaning equipment.
  • Cleaning a specified number of rooms within a designated time frame.
  • Cleaning restrooms, furniture, hallways, lobbies, lounges, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas to meet health standards.
  • Changing bed linens and making beds.
  • Replenishing towels, linens, toilet tissue, toiletries, and complimentary supplies.
  • Emptying wastebaskets, cleaning ashtrays, and transporting waste to disposal areas.
  • Keeping storage areas and carts well-stocked and clean.
  • Dusting and polishing furniture and equipment.
  • Sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and/or polishing floors using appropriate tools and machines.
  • Cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies with vacuum cleaners and shampooers; hanging draperies and dusting window blinds.
  • Washing windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork as necessary.
  • Carrying heavy items and using wheeled carts for supplies.
  • Attention to detail, customer assistance, and service are critical components.

    Laundry Attendant: Specific duties may include:

    • Sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding clothing and textiles.
    • Removing stains using appropriate procedures.
    • Performing minor sewing duties as needed.
    • Folding laundry.
    • Maintaining inventory of laundry supplies.
    • Tracking maintenance and repairs on laundering equipment.
    • Ensuring cleanliness of the facility.
    • Responding to customer queries, concerns, and complaints.
    • Inspecting linens for stains and treating them accordingly.
    • Loading laundry, adding cleaning agents, and drying clothes following manufacturer instructions.
    • Monitoring stock levels of cleaning supplies and reporting shortages.
    • Inspecting equipment and reporting issues.

    Position: TEAM MEMBER

    Team members assist customers by answering questions, making recommendations, and explaining services or products. They complete transactions after helping customers make satisfactory selections.

    Other roles include Front Desk Agents, Restaurant Attendants, and Bussers, each with their specific duties such as welcoming guests, assisting with food service, and supporting servers.
