Are you highly organised, proactive, and energised by fast‑paced events? Everton Football Club is looking for a People Operations Administrator- 6 month FTC to play a vital role in delivering exceptional matchday and event experiences across our iconic venues.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of event operations—making sure our matchday and event workforce is fully staffed, compliant, and ready to deliver a safe and welcoming environment for thousands of fans and visitors. From onboarding and accreditation to scheduling, payroll inputs, and event‑day coordination, you’ll ensure our people processes run seamlessly behind the scenes.

Working across Goodison Park, Hill Dickinson, and other operational sites, you’ll collaborate with multiple departments to support high‑volume, high‑energy events—often during evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinate staffing and scheduling for matchday and non‑matchday events, ensuring all shifts are fully covered and headcount targets are met.
  • Manage onboarding processes, including Right to Work checks, references, safeguarding requirements, inductions, and accreditation issuing.
  • Oversee uniform and accreditation logistics, including kit distribution, stock monitoring, and collection during and after events.
  • Operate and reconcile Time & Attendance data, addressing no‑shows, late changes, and ensuring accurate hours are submitted for payroll.
  • Prepare and submit payroll inputs to required deadlines, resolving discrepancies with HR Shared Services promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain workforce compliance records—Right to Work, DBS, training, and documentation—to ensure audit‑ready standards at all times.
  • Provide on‑site event‑day support, including running the accreditation desk, handling welfare queries, and liaising with Ops Control on deployment changes.
  • Maintain HRIS and workforce systems, produce workforce and compliance reports, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance event‑day operations.
Key Requirements:
  • Experience in high‑volume staffing, scheduling, or event workforce administration, ideally within stadiums, arenas, hospitality, or large public venues.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment and operational compliance, including Right to Work, DBS, GDPR, and Working Time Regulations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS, rostering, and Time & Attendance systems, with confident Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to work calmly and professionally under time pressure and changing event conditions.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with a proactive approach to resolving data issues, chasing documentation, and keeping compliance records fully up to date.
