Campus Recruiting

The Campus Recruiting team identifies, attracts, and recruits undergraduates and experienced professionals to the firm. The team also manages relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a high calibre, diverse and robust candidate pipeline for both campus and experienced hire recruiting. Our graduate recruiting team sources strong and diverse talent for our global internship programme and full-time campus classes through relationship building with key university stakeholders and high-impact campus events.

Responsibilities
  • End to end project management of key recruitment pipelines across our EMEA offices, including attraction, hiring processes and ongoing candidate management
  • Build relationships with key recruiting contacts and senior stakeholders within the business and partner with them on recruiting strategies and business plans
  • Manage planning and execution of multiple internship programmes across EMEA throughout the year to ensure an excellent experience for the interns and to ensure the business is building a full‑time talent pipeline
  • Manage interview and offer process for candidates applying for aligned locations/programmes
  • Ensure a consistent, structured process is followed and that interviewers are suitably trained to perform their role
  • Monitor and help drive the “sell” process for all candidates once an offer has been extended
  • Partner with the business on headcount and business planning to ensure hiring needs are met across business lines
  • Project manage, host and attend campus events across schools in multiple countries (e.g. information sessions, workshops, case studies, presentations etc.)
  • Work with the business to highlight strong candidates on campus and ultimately develop and coach them throughout the process
  • Build relationships at key university career services and student societies to ensure GS is always represented in a positive and professional way
  • Work with team members from the cross‑divisional recruiting team on projects such as off‑cycle intern programming, intern performance review processes and process improvement ideas
  • Maintain and produce reports analysing key recruitment metrics and KPIs
  • Acquire expertise in global recruiting technology platforms
  • Keep abreast of trends in recruitment, market intelligence and competitor benchmarking
Skills / Experience

Required

  • Functional expertise: Minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience in a campus or early careers recruitment role, with a significant portion dedicated to recruiting for Investment Banking or a closely related financial services division.
  • Partnering with clients and colleagues: Solid communication and relationship management skills; client‑facing and credible, with proven ability to influence and advise senior Investment Banking stakeholders; strong negotiation skills; ability to develop robust internal and external relationships; ability to manage diverse stakeholders and to build networks quickly within a fast‑paced financial environment.
  • Results‑orientated: Ability to handle multiple, time‑sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work delivered to clients.
  • Strong project management skills; ability to handle multiple priorities and project plan on an annual basis.
  • Strong analytical and data skills.
  • Critical analysis, forward thinking; ability to foresee issues or the impact of emerging trends/patterns.
  • Strong team player: Ability to work effectively in a team with all levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a deadline‑driven and fast‑paced environment.
  • Must be fluent in English.

Preferred

  • Commercial awareness: Demonstrated ability to maximize ROI from recruitment efforts, particularly for Investment Banking talent acquisition, and maintain sharp focus on annual recruiting priorities aligned with IBD's strategic goals.
  • Broad and deep knowledge of the financial services industry, with a particular emphasis on the Investment Banking Division's structure, roles, and competitive landscape.
