What would you do to drive our success?

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on HR professional for a temporary maternity cover role, initially foreseen as three days per week, from March to September 2026. You will be a vital member of our People team, ensuring the stability of our day-to-day HR operations while also collaborating on key Compensation & Benefits projects across Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and the UK.

This is a dynamic and comprehensive role. You will collaborate closely with our People & Fleet Coordinator, Office & Culture Coordinator, and People Business Partners. You will act as a central expert for operational matters and drive specific projects related to rewards, compliance, and strategic HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Note: This is a very comprehensive role with a wide variety of ad-hoc tasks. The list of responsibilities is not exhaustive and will evolve based on the changing needs of the business.

  • HR Operations & Compliance – Operational Excellence: support the team in maintaining operational excellence, ensuring all HR processes are efficient, compliant, and well-documented.
  • HR Operations & Compliance – Compliance & Audits: support periodic audits of HR systems, benefits, contracts, and policies to ensure they are up-to-date; take corrective action or flag issues as needed.
  • HR Operations & Compliance – Legal Expertise: stay current on local legislation and sectoral agreements (BE, NL, LUX, UK); interpret changes and implement them accordingly.
  • HR Operations & Compliance – Payroll Support: serve as the subject matter expert to support payroll operations across all four countries; the People & Fleet Coordinator leads execution, while you provide guidance on complex cases.
  • HR Operations & Compliance – Employee Relations: provide support in managing sensitive employee cases, such as terminations, ensuring legal compliance and a professional approach.
  • Compensation & Benefits – Salary Review: support and coordinate the annual Salary Review Cycles within the compensation framework.
  • Compensation & Benefits – Benefits Management: manage renewal of employee benefits contracts, monitoring budget and market competitiveness.
  • Compensation & Benefits – Variable Compensation: work with Finance on processes and queries related to variable compensation (bonuses, commissions, etc.).
  • Compensation & Benefits – Market Analysis: monitor emerging C&B trends, market data, and best practices.
  • People Projects & Stakeholder Management – Strategic Support and Project Management: contribute to larger business projects, possibly including mergers & acquisitions or opening new entities.
  • People Projects & Stakeholder Management – Collaboration: build cross-functional relationships with Talent Team, People Business Partners, Finance, IT, Legal, and other stakeholders to drive efficiencies.
