Recruiter / HRIS Coordinator: Blyth, Northumberland

Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days remote)

Responsibilities

This is a dual‑function position, with your time split equally between global recruitment tasks and local HR support and maintaining the HR Information System (Workday). You will work closely with colleagues and stakeholders across the UK and globally, in a friendly, informal office environment.

Global Responsibilities (50%)
  • Recruitment: Manage end‑to‑end recruitment including job postings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and ATS maintenance.
  • Onboarding: Host onboarding events and maintain onboarding tools.
  • Systems: Act as a Workday superuser and manage HR hub pages.
  • Employer branding: Create and post content on social media and internal platforms.
  • Employee engagement: Support administration of employee surveys.
Local Responsibilities (50%)
  • Onboarding & offboarding: Prepare contracts and manage new joiner/leaver processes.
  • Time & attendance: Calculate annual leave and maintain absence records in Workday.
  • Family leave: Administer maternity/paternity paperwork and related tasks.
  • HRIS tasks: Support compensation updates, organisational changes, payroll reporting, and contract variations.
  • Benefits administration: Manage employee benefits and reward schemes.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in end‑to‑end recruitment and HR administration.
  • Strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with HRIS platforms – Workday preferred.
