About Auchrannie

In addition to our luxury accommodation, we deliver amazing dining experiences across our restaurants, as well as the chance for our guests to relax in our incredible leisure facilities and book a treatment in our ASPA, Scotland’s first island destination spa.

About the role

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will support your Head Housekeeper and Housekeeping Management team to maintain exceptional standards whilst completing your daily duties. You will cover the Head Housekeepers' holidays, days off, etc as well as supporting with departmental training, inductions and room inspections.

In this role, you will:
  • attend daily morning briefings with the Estate Housekeeping Manager to ensure you are up to date about all upcoming business
  • work alongside your head housekeeper and management team to ensure all duties are completed in a time‑efficient manner and to an excellent standard
  • support the Head Housekeeper and take on their duties in the event of holidays or absences
  • provide induction and ongoing training for team members
  • carry out daily room/lodge inspections ensuring all duties have been completed
  • support your team, working together to ensure all rooms and communal areas are ready for check‑in
  • complete daily servicing and departure cleaning of all rooms, this includes making beds, replacing dirty linen and towels, restocking amenities, polishing, hoovering, and mopping
  • ensure all communal areas are clean, tidy and to the high standards Auchrannie expects
  • log and report any breakages or damages across the resort to your manager
  • liaise with porters to ensure linen stocks are available and in the correct inventory cupboards
  • ensure all Health and Safety regulations are being adhered to
To be a good fit for this role you will:
  • already have housekeeping experience gained within a large 4/5 star hotel/hospitality business
  • have some experience leading or managing people in a housekeeping team leader/supervisory role
  • have a keen eye for detail and deliver consistently high standard
  • enjoy working alongside people and supporting their training and development
  • be happy to take on some additional responsibilities when asked
  • be looking to progress your career within housekeeping and learn more about managing a housekeeping team
  • have a positive, fun and friendly approach to work
  • ideally have a full UK driving licence

This position provides a good life balance with your standard working hours 8am‑4pm or 9am‑5pm, 5 days from 7. Weekend working will be required as this is when the Resort is at its busiest. Occasional evening work may be required.

Within this role also potential for future progression within the housekeeping team and you will be supported with additional supervisory and management training to prepare you for future development opportunities.
