About the Hotel Malmaison Aberdeen is a luxury boutique hotel located in Aberdeen, Scotland. The property features 79 bedrooms, a 90‑seat bar & grill, three private event spaces (up to 30 seats), a spa with four treatment rooms, and a range of on‑site dining options. Situated in the Granite City, it offers a vibrant mix of history, culture, and outdoor activities.

About the Role

Rate of Pay: £12.30 per hour

Type of Contract / Hours: Part‑time – 20 hours per week

Location: Malmaison Aberdeen

As part of the Housekeeping team you will ensure all guest bedrooms are cleaned on a daily basis. You will work set shifts 5 days out of seven, typically starting at 9 or 10 am. Some flexibility is required during peak times; earlier start times and weekend work may be discussed.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms to company standards, including bed making, floor cleaning, and replenishment of amenities.
• Use approved cleaning chemicals and equipment following safety procedures.
• Communicate with guests and housekeeping staff in conversational English.
• Report maintenance issues and coordinate with the housekeeping supervisor.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a desire to provide excellent guest service.
• Basic physical fitness to perform cleaning tasks and lift moderate loads.
• Previous hospitality experience is not required, but a customer‑centric mindset is essential.
• Availability for part‑time shifts and flexibility around peak periods.
