A local church community in Overton is seeking a mission-minded priest to share God’s love and strengthen connections with the school and the wider parish. Ideal candidates will have a heart for prayer and community engagement, appreciating the need for work-life balance in a house for duty setup. This role is an opportunity to make a significant impact through kindness and hospitality.
Nestled near the mouth of the River Lune with the same coastal landscape as that seen on THE BAY, Overton is a welcoming village with a strong sense of community and a historic church at its heart. We seek a prayerful, mission-minded priest to join us in sharing God’s love and strengthening links with our vibrant school and wider parish.
We appreciate that a house for Duty incumbent is not a full-time role and we will encourage you to manage your work-life balance.
“St Helen’s is a one of our ancient places of prayer: a thin place, with a warm welcome” (Bishop Jill Duff)
