A local government authority in North East England is seeking an experienced Hosting and Security Team Leader to manage robust systems for staff and customers. The role involves leading daily operations, contributing to strategic planning, and ensuring secure systems. Applicants must hold a relevant degree or professional qualification and demonstrate strong project management skills. A vacancy has arisen within our Hosting and Security Team for an experienced, enthusiastic, and flexible Hosting and Security Team Leader, with the aim of helping to ensure that Durham County Council provides secure, robust systems for our staff and customers to safely use.
The role will also help shape the Team’s future plans and direction.
We are looking for an individual who has experience of participating in services provision and support as well as new projects, both individually and as part of a team. Applicants should demonstrate good communications skills to help deliver excellent, secure solutions and outcomes, by liaising with stakeholders, suppliers, or customers.

You will need a degree or professional qualification such as MCSE, MCD, MCT, CCNA, CCIE or equivalent.
