A regional healthcare provider is looking for a Pharmacy Assistant to join its Pharmacy team at Sunderland Royal Hospital and South Tyneside District Hospital. Qualifications

• Candidates must have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills to Level 2 or equivalent are essential.
• Experience in a similar post is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide an efficient supplies system of drugs to all wards and departments.
• Participate in a weekend pharmacy service and relevant bank holiday arrangements.
• Check, store, and distribute medicines in the area of responsibility.
