Highways Operative

Highways Services are looking for a Highways Operative to join their team.

What is involved?

To ensure the efficient and effective undertaking of civil engineering activity including highways, bridges, street lighting and countryside works as assigned.

To undertake the duties of a Highways Operative having the necessary skills to undertake, the maintenance and construction of roads, bridges, drainage, highways electrical and associated works and to ensure a personal high quality of workmanship at all times.

What will I need?
  • Good basic education.
  • Experience of manual activities in a highway or building environment.
