An educational institution in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant for the nursery classroom. The role involves planning and delivering learning activities while complementing the work of teachers. Salary: Grade 6 - £28,142 - £31,022 pro rata
We are seeking to appoint an experienced HLTA within our school for the nursery classroom. Your role will be to complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision. This may involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals/groups or short‑term for whole classes and monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupils' achievement, progress and development.
Experience working with children of relevant age in a learning environment. Attainment of the Higher‑Level Teaching Assistant standards or qualified teacher status or equivalent qualification is essential for this role.
This is a fixed‑term position until 31 August 2026.
You will need to be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) for this post and it is subject to a DBS disclosure check.
