Job summary

A leading construction company in the UK is seeking a HGV Vehicle Technician to perform inspections, repairs, and MOT preparations on heavy vehicles. The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ2 or 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, possess a full UK driving licence, and bring strong diagnostic skills to our supportive team culture. Competitive pay, including overtime and extensive benefits, is offered.

Job description

What your day will look like:

  • Conduct periodic inspections, servicing and maintenance to a high standard in line with manufacturers specifications and recording information digitally including photographic evidenceon Syrinx App
  • Conduct regular six week inspections and brake tests on HGV vehicles as assigned to you
  • Diagnose and repair of complex faults on HGV vehicles
  • Conduct MOT preparations
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and efficient workshop and environment
  • Timely and accurate diagnosis and repair of faults.

What we need from you:

  • Knowledge that you have acquired through experience
  • Education to NVQ2 or 3 equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Own tools required
