Job summary

A leading construction company in the UK is seeking a HGV Vehicle Technician to perform inspections, repairs, and MOT preparations on heavy vehicles. The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ2 or 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, possess a full UK driving licence, and bring strong diagnostic skills to our supportive team culture. Job description

What your day will look like:

• Conduct periodic inspections, servicing and maintenance to a high standard in line with manufacturers specifications and recording information digitally including photographic evidenceon Syrinx App
• Conduct regular six week inspections and brake tests on HGV vehicles as assigned to you
• Diagnose and repair of complex faults on HGV vehicles
• Conduct MOT preparations
• Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and efficient workshop and environment
• Timely and accurate diagnosis and repair of faults.

What we need from you:

• Knowledge that you have acquired through experience
• Education to NVQ2 or 3 equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
• Full UK driving licence
• Own tools required
