Job summary

A logistics company in Barnsley is seeking an HGV Driver to join its team. The ideal candidate must hold a Class 1 license and be flexible to switch to Class 2 vehicles if needed. Interaction Recruitment are currently recruiting for a HGV Driver in Tankersley

Responsibilities

• Class 1 driver – must be happy to swap into Class 2, 7.5t or 3.5t vehicle if needed
• Driver must be able to give us 2 nights out a week (may not do them, only when needed for the operation)
• Large amount of handball, delivering white and brown goods, so could be TV's to double stacked washing machines. Most handball is done with a sack barrow but could be using a pump truck if they are loaded on pallets
• Good customer service is a must
• Monday to Friday day shift
• Temp to perm – 12 weeks
• After 12 weeks pay rise and overtime rates will apply
