Job Details

Shift: 1600-2000 hours, average 12‑hour shifts.

Nights Monday to Friday pay £17‑£19.05, Saturday £18‑£20.17, Sunday £19‑£21.29 (higher rates include holiday pay).

Location: Cardiff and surrounding areas including Newport and Bridgend.

Immediate start. Ongoing work, ad‑hoc work, weekends.

Role Overview

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will operate an HGV Class 1 lorry to carry out collections and deliveries, ensuring safe loading/unloading and providing excellent service on site.

A driving assessment may be required before assignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and operate HGV Class 1 lorry in line with safety standards.
• Carry out site collections and deliveries.
• Complete daily vehicle checks.
• Maintain a professional and customer‑focused approach.

Requirements

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence, held for a minimum of 6 months to 2 years depending on contract.
• HGV Class 1 driving experience and ability to pass a driving assessment if required.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.
• Strong focus on safety and customer service.
