Helicopter Field Service Representative - KSA

Leonardo is seeking a Field Service Representative (FSR) to join Leonardo Saudi Arabia Ltd (LDOS) as part of a team based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

In this role you will provide direct support for the avionics equipment installed on the customer’s helicopters operating in KSA.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical expertise related to the defensive aids system installed on the helicopters, supporting the customer in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Diagnosing and rectifying faults on the Electronic Surveillance Measures (ESM) and Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) equipment
  • Interpreting data from onboard and ground‑based systems and providing associated guidance
  • Ensuring all work complies with company policies, site‑specific governance, and applicable legislation
  • Building and maintaining effective working relationships with the customer, prime contractor and other partner organisations
  • Maintaining all required training, authorisations, and documentation (e.g. vaccinations, passports, visas) to ensure ongoing eligibility to perform the role
  • Supporting the customer’s operational requirements as needed

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience working in an engineering capacity with aircraft and/or in an aircraft maintenance environment
  • A customer‑focused mindset that balances customer priorities with business needs
  • The ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and without ambiguity to a diverse range of customers and stakeholders across different levels of seniority and cultural backgrounds
  • A full UK Category B driving licence
  • The flexibility to work shifts – primarily day shifts, with occasional alternative shifts by management agreement

It is highly desirable that you have:

  • Experience working with Electronic Surveillance Measures (ESM) and/or Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) equipment at Maintenance Levels 1 and 2 (ML1 and ML2)
  • Knowledge of RF principles and advanced radar theory
  • An HNC (or equivalent qualification) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
  • Experience working on military helicopters
  • Experience operating in offsite locations, such as customer facilities or remote support environments

This role is subject to pre‑employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). An additional range of Personnel Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NSV) apply, including meeting the eligibility requirements for The Security Check (SC).
