Job summary

A local academy in Canterbury is seeking a Communication Support Worker for Hearing Impaired Children. Qualifications

  • 2 years experience in working with children with hearing impairment.
  • Experience working with Cochlear Implants and children with additional needs is desirable.
  • Flexible, well organised and self motivated.

Responsibilities

  • Aid in the education and social development of hearing impaired children.
  • Utilize signed mode of communication as a second language.
  • Work with individual pupils, parents/carers, and teachers.
