As we expand our preventative health programmes and respond to the needs of our communities, we are seeking a proactive and motivated Health & Wellbeing Officer to join our team.**Location - Aberdeenshire/Hybrid****About the role**As a Health & Wellbeing Officer, you will play a central role in shaping and delivering our health and wellbeing offer. This role includes both operational delivery and people management responsibilities. You will:* 14px;">Lead, coordinate and manage the delivery of health and wellbeing programmes, including the referral pathway, condition-specific sessions and targeted community interventions such as health walks and SeaFit.* Line manage, support and motivate Health & Wellbeing Instructors and Coordinators ensuring high-quality, inclusive and person-centred delivery.* Provide mentoring, coaching and ongoing development opportunities for staff to ensure consistency, confidence and safe practice.* Oversee quality assurance, risk management and compliance within programme areas.* Use data, insight and participant feedback to shape service design, track performance and demonstrate impact.* Build strong partnerships with HSCP, NHS, Public Health and third-sector organisations to ensure a joined-up, preventative approach.* ize: 14px;">Lead on local project planning, resource allocation and problem-solving to ensure smooth operational delivery.At Live Life Aberdeenshire, you’ll be part of an ambitious, collaborative and forward-thinking service that is positioning leisure as a vital part of community health.
