Qualifications

Are you passionate about Health & Safety and have experience within Civil Engineering? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Health & Safety Advisor to work on a major highways junction improvement project at the M3 Junction 9 based in Winchester.

Reporting to a Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination of all activities related to the implementation, development and maintenance of the VolkerFitzpatrick Safety Management System.

About you
  • Demonstrable health and safety experience in construction
  • NEBOSH Level 3 Certificate in Construction Safety and Health or equivalent.
  • CSCS cardholder
  • An understanding of the requirements of BS OHSAS 45001:2018
  • A working knowledge of health & safety legislation
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to guide and educate/train at all levels
  • Self-confidence to build strong working relationships internally and externally.
  • Good presentation, written, analytical and IT skills.
