UIST AND BARRA

HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT

15 hours

Band 2 - £25,694 to £27,900 pro rata

Plus £1,406 Distant Islands Allowance pro rata

We seek to recruit a Healthcare Assistant to work within the nursing teams in the Uist & Barra Hospital, a community hospital on the Isle of Benbecula.

Applicants should be committed to providing a high standard of care and interact well within a multi-disciplinary team. They will be based predominantly on the ward but may be asked to work in A&E/ outpatients and Locals/scopes following appropriate training.

The successful candidates will need to achieve the Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers and comply with the Code of Conduct within three months of full time employment or up to six months for part time workers. For further information see www.hcswtoolkit.nes.scot.nhs.uk
