Working closely with the Engineering Director and Health & Safety Manager, you will:* Lead safety initiatives and ensure Group H&S policies are consistently applied across depots* Carry out safety audits and follow up on actions, legislation updates, and policy changes* Support the Manchester business to maintain their ISO 45001 accreditation* Collaborate with Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) on safety improvement programmes* Attend forums and committees to share knowledge and best practices with other operators* Deliver in-house safety training and support the delivery of our 5-Year Safety Plan* Investigate incidents and develop Safety Alerts to improve awareness and prevent reoccurrence* Monitor depot KPIs and identify opportunities for safety improvement* Be a visible presence across our operations, engaging with local teams to champion safe working practicesWe’re looking for someone who brings experience, passion and a proactive mindset to the role.
