Job description

Seaford College are seeking an outstanding Head of PE to lead our thriving department to commence in April 2026 (although candidates wishing to start in September 2026 may be considered). This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator with a strong academic background in Physical Education and a passion for delivering high-quality core PE.

The successful candidate will oversee a broad curriculum, including Core PE and Swimming from Reception to Year 9, alongside GCSE PE, A Level PE and BTEC Sport Level 3. The role involves leading a talented team, maintaining high academic standards and ensuring curriculum PE provision promotes lifelong activity and enjoyment. As part of the Sports Department, the post holder will coach one of Seaford’s major sports and lead teams on weekends throughout each term during the year.
