We are seeking an experienced and driven Head of Investor Relations to join our leadership team on a part‑time, remote basis. This strategic role focuses on leading all investor activities across both the UK and China, converting existing investor interest into committed capital and expanding our network across these key markets. As a member of the executive team, you will help shape investment strategy, build relationships with financial partners, and secure the capital required to scale our mission.

Responsibilities

• Manage discussions with investors already engaged with us — turning warm leads into strong partnerships.
• Expand fundraising efforts across United Kingdom and China — including VCs, family funds, strategic partners, and high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Identify and prioritize investors who best align with our company culture and long‑term vision.
• Lead preparation of investment materials: pitch decks, financial projections, data rooms, and due diligence documentation.
• Communicate company updates, technology value, and growth strategy with clarity and confidence.
• Provide leadership with insights on capital strategy, valuation, and investor negotiations.
• Maintain a structured investor pipeline and ensure timely follow‑ups and reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in investor relations, venture fundraising, or financial advisory — ideally across UK and/or Chinese markets.
• Established portfolio of investors, or ability/willingness to co‑invest personally to join the investors already in the pipeline.
• Strong understanding of startup financing structures and negotiation processes.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
• Highly self‑motivated, persistent, and outcome‑oriented.
• Passion for robotics, sustainability, and transforming the waste management industry.
• Experience in technology startups or high‑growth companies strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of mandarin and experience with doing business in China is a strong plus.
