Yorkshire Wildlife Trust is one of the UK’s fastest growing nature conservation organisations and seeks to appoint a Head of Digital Transformation and IT.
The Head of Digital Transformation and IT is a pivotal new appointment to lead the delivery of our digital and IT strategies for the future and drive our transformation agenda: modernising our systems, enhancing digital engagement, identifying the potential benefits of AI and ensuring that our technology infrastructure supports our mission to drive nature’s recovery in Yorkshire.
The role will be instrumental in leading and project managing the migration to SharePoint across the Trust, as well as other strategically identified software and data management systems, to ensure cost-effective, efficient and scalable approaches to managing our digital output.
As a member of the Extended Leadership Team, you will work closely with our GIS and Environmental Data Team, Communications and Public Affairs, Supporter Services CRM and other team leaders across the Trust to assist in ensuring our spatial, species, customer, citizen science and key stakeholder data is served with accurate data, metrics and reporting. You will also manage our IT team to support and enhance our existing IT infrastructure.
As well as bringing a wealth of technical and digital skills and experience of leading technological change to the Trust, you will be a natural communicator, a strategic thinker and have the ability to undertake stakeholder engagement and meet the needs of internal customers and system users.
