The Head of Digital Marketing is a strategic leadership role responsible for owning the end‑to‑end digital marketing strategy across the Micheldever Group. You will drive brand growth, awareness and consideration for MTS channels while delivering customer acquisition, engagement, and retention through Protyre.co.uk, TyreClick, and local garage sites.
The job holder works closely with the Group Marketing Director and the Marketing Leadership Team, leading a team of digital specialists and managing best‑in‑class agencies to deliver measurable online‑influenced revenue. You will set the annual digital plan, oversee channel performance, and optimise investment to improve ROAS, CAC, CLV, and attribution.
You are accountable for end‑to‑end channel performance, agency and martech procurement, testing and innovation, and omnichannel traffic growth to both digital properties and physical stores. You’ll champion AI, personalisation, and CDP capabilities while ensuring GDPR, PECR, and ASA compliance.
We are looking for a commercially minded digital leader who can set strategy and support specialist execution. You’ll combine deep hands‑on knowledge of SEO, paid search, and social with strong stakeholder management, data‑driven decision making, and a passion for continuous improvement.
In this leadership role, you’ll define the roadmap, lead agency relationships, guide the team through high‑support, high‑challenge coaching, and partner across marketing, retail, and operations to accelerate growth online and in‑store.
Micheldever Tyre Services (MTS) was founded in 1972 as a part‑time venture providing car servicing and tyres. Today, Micheldever Group is the fastest growing wholesaler, distributor and retailer of tyres in the UK, selling six million tyres nationwide, (20 percent of the total UK market) and employing approximately 2100 employees - company wide. To support this business, we have built a wholesale distribution network of 14 sites around the UK supplying over 6,000 retailers and our own retail chain Protyre which is consistently growing. This is achieved by skilled, focused and determined teams across 1 central distribution and 13 warehouse operations nationwide.
