A leading healthcare provider in Greater London seeks a Head of Auditory Implant Service for maternity cover. This role requires leadership in the operational and strategic management of the service, ensuring adherence to national standards and effective patient care. Candidates must have substantial audiology experience, particularly with cochlear implants. The position offers a fixed-term contract of 12 months, competitive salary, and full-time hours of 37.5 per week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Audiology practice at Band 7 or above, specializing in Cochlear Implants and/or BCHI.
• Competence in adult and pediatric diagnostic assessments.
• Experience in both BCHI and CI.
• Evidence of conference presentation or journal publication.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational and strategic management of the Auditory Implant Service.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Provide clinical leadership and ensure adherence to service objectives.
