Job summary

A prestigious college in Cambridge is seeking a College Boatman and Head Coach to support and develop rowing within its Boat Club. The successful candidate will provide high-quality coaching, maintain equipment, and ensure water safety compliance. Required qualifications include proven coaching experience, a Level 2 British Rowing coaching qualification, and a Valid First Aid Certificate. This role entails 40 hours per week during term time and 20 hours during breaks, including weekends. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

  • Provide targeted coaching to college crews focusing on rower development.
  • Responsible for maintenance and safety of all rowing equipment.
  • Support Captains in developing and implementing training programmes.
  • Ensure compliance with British Rowing Water Safety Code.
