Job summary

A prominent NHS Trust in Cambridge is seeking a Specialist Support Nurse/Clinical Nurse Specialist for the Gynae Oncology team. The role involves patient advocacy and collaboration with a dynamic team to support patients through diagnosis and surgical management of gynaecological cancer. Applicants should have at least 12 months of band 6 experience and excellent communication skills. This is a permanent position offering flexible working options, and the salary ranges from £38,682 to £54,710 per year, pro rata.

Qualifications

  • At least 12 months band 6 experience within gynaecology and/or oncology.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Experience of initiating change.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assessing, developing, and implementing specialist nursing care programmes.
  • Provide specialist advice and support to patients and liaise with other staff.
  • Support research and clinical audits in the specialist area.

Degree in Nursing
