Team: Ground Operations - Central Support

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Ground Operations Training team at our 14th UK base, London Gatwick Airport!

As a Ground Operations Trainer you will be responsible for providing classroom and practical training, support and coaching to Front of House & Dispatch colleagues in order to ensure they are working and operating in accordance with our safety culture and brand philosophy.

What will you do in the role?

• You will identify and analyse individual training and development needs, making recommendations in line with the Behavioural Framework.
• You will be responsible for the delivery of coaching and support for all front of house and dispatch colleagues ensuring training is tailored to individual requirements.
• As part of the Training Team, you will be responsible for the design and development of initial and recurrent training for colleagues to support them to achieve the highest performance standards.

This is a varied and fulfilling role and will play a vital part in ensuring we achieve our Safety and Customer Satisfaction targets. Working hours are rostered and will include early starts and weekend working to support the delivery of in‑the‑job coaching and training.

What are the key skills/experience you'll already have?

• The successful candidate will already be demonstrating Role Model behaviours and will be an ambassador for the Jet2 brand and ethos.
• Have experience of coaching and/or training delivery, either on an individual basis or in a classroom environment.
• Be a subject matter expert in Ground Operations (ideally Check‑In/Boarding and Dispatch) procedures with a minimum of 1 year experience in Front of House (EASA Requirement).
• Be able to share your knowledge as well as be able to engage and influence others.
• Be passionate about training and developing others and be able to engage with the wider Front of House & Dispatch team.

Unless a recognised equivalent is already held, the successful candidate will be willing to study towards the Level 3 Award in Education and Training qualification which will be provided by the company.
