The Project and Impact Manager (Good Futures Framework) will be part of our dynamic Climate Commissions Team at the University of Leeds. As a Climate Commissions Project and Impact Manager, you'll be at the heart of the Commissions' team, driving an impactful project that shapes a sustainable future for Leeds, Yorkshire & the Humber and beyond. Working hand-in-hand with Commissioners, you'll be instrumental in shaping the future by:
You’ll do this by building and maintaining powerful collaborations across the public, private, and third sectors. This role is all about enabling partners and stakeholders to co-design and deliver effective climate strategies that lead to a just and fair transition. Your primary focus will be to lead and deliver our flagship project on developing a Good Futures Framework, designed to enable inclusive, fair and just decision‑making. This includes leading a strategic steering group, collaborating closely with Commissioners, Associates, communities and a wide range of partners.
With a strong focus on outcomes, you will work with Commissioners, the project Steering Group and stakeholders to further develop a well informed and robust framework that supports positive decision‑making. In doing so, you will contribute a key tool to support all of the Commission’s initiatives, helping to building the profile, momentum and impact of our work.
Beyond your project focus, you’ll play a vital role in the broader work of the Climate Commissions. This means actively supporting and participating in our routine operations, including engaging in our essential quarterly meetings and contributing to our impactful annual events. Your involvement will help shape the strategic direction and collective efforts of the Commissions, ensuring our ongoing success in driving climate action.
