The Opportunity

As the Global Mobility Operations Specialist you will: - create and maintain assignment letters, balance sheets, cost estimates, and compliance evaluations;

  • handle tax and payroll records;
  • assist with one-off reporting requests;
  • streamline Global Mobility processes to improve efficiency, reduce complexity, and update local processes into global processes.

This position reports to the Global Mobility Specialist and sits within the Human Resources Global Mobility team. It is based in London, UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the Global Mobility team in preparing documentation required for tax, social security, and immigration compliance. Assist with tax return processes, monthly payroll activities, and annual payroll events such as Short-Term Incentives (STI), Long-Term Incentives (LTI), share plans, and merit increases.
  • Generate and share reports from the Global Assignment Management System; monitor and update the system as required.
  • Create assignment package documents (Assignment Letter, Balance Sheet, Cost Estimate); ensure timely payment of invoices, maintain records, raise purchase orders, and flag discrepancies with relevant parties.
  • Support project-related administrative tasks.
  • Deliver Global Mobility BAU processes and administrative tasks; collaborate with team members to document Global Mobility processes.
Essential Knowledge & Experience
  • Strong numeracy and Excel skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
Preferred Experience
  • Fluency in Japanese is highly desirable.
  • Previous Global Mobility/HR experience.
  • An understanding of the assignment lifecycle and typical assignment pay structures.
  • Exposure to monthly assignee payroll processes.
  • Experience using an assignment management system or HRIS.
Additional Information
  • This is a permanent full-time position.
  • This position is based in the UK.
  • This position follows a hybrid working model with a blend of home and office work; role may require a minimum of 1 day per quarter in the local office. Applicants must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
