We are looking for an experienced Automation Marketing Manager to build and lead our Global Automation/Email Marketing team. This role requires a hands‑on HubSpot expert who thrives in a highly technical, fast‑paced environment and can translate strategic objectives into state‑of‑the‑art marketing automation programs.

As the Global Automation Marketing Manager, you will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of HubSpot, email marketing, website forms, and connected automation platforms (e.g., OneSignal for push notifications). You will architect, implement, and optimise advanced workflows across multiple platforms to support lead generation, nurturing, customer engagement, and retention strategies globally.

This is a highly collaborative role: you will work closely with other departments and teams, ensuring alignment while respecting each team’s domain ownership. You will also serve as a key advisor to the Global Head of Marketing, bringing forward new automation ideas, tools, and best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Build and lead the Global Automation/Email Marketing team.
  • Own and manage day‑to‑day operations of HubSpot, including workflows, automations, email campaigns, and database management.
  • Manage website‑related automations (forms, integrations, lead capture flows) in close collaboration with the Growth Marketing team.
  • Administer and optimise marketing automation platforms beyond HubSpot (e.g., push notification systems, integrations with CRM and website).
  • Design, implement, and test complex, multi‑step workflows for lead nurturing, scoring, segmentation, and re‑engagement.
  • Ensure automations are data‑driven, measurable, and aligned with business goals.
  • Proactively identify and implement new platforms, technologies, and processes to improve automation efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaborate with the Growth Marketing Manager to support campaign execution, demand generation, and event‑driven automations.
  • Execute automation programs under the direction of the Head of Marketing Operations, ensuring strategy is translated into action.
  • Regularly analyse performance data, report on KPIs, and optimise campaigns and workflows based on insights.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and global data privacy regulations.
Requirements
  • Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
  • Ability to occasionally travel.
  • 5+ years of professional marketing experience.
  • 3+ years of exclusive experience in Marketing Automation.
  • Proven HubSpot expertise (certifications highly desirable).
  • Strong technical ability to design and build advanced workflows across HubSpot and other platforms (e.g., push notifications, lead routing tools, form integrations).
  • Solid understanding of CRM and marketing automation integrations.
  • Highly analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong project management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross‑functionally while respecting role ownership.
